About Me
I'm a broadcast driven multimedia journalist with a passion for telling stories centered around politics and entertainment. I am originally from Fontana, CA, only 40 minutes outside of Los Angeles. I discovered a love for writing at a young age but did not begin my journey into journalism until later on.

My first exposure to journalism was in yearbook during my senior year of high school. During this time, I told stories of school events and sports teams through written and visual elements.
In May 2020, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with my BA in Political Science. My interest in journalism began the second semester of my third year. The courses I was taking opened my eyes to the impression journalists have in opening the door to events happening in one's country and worldwide. During my last year, I solidified my decision to further my education in the journalism realm.
In August 2021, I began the MA in Mass Communication program with an emphasis on broadcast at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. During this time, I reported in Tapachula, Mexico covering the migration crisis. I previously worked as a broadcast reporter for Cronkite News: Los Angeles and Washington D.C., where I covered The Ninth Summit of the Americas. During my time in D.C. I also interned for The Heritage Foundation.

I am currently a multi-media journalist and reporter for KOLD 13 News in Tucson, Arizona. During my time here I have topics including both presidential candidates on the campaign trail, the end of Title 42, the leadership shake up at the Southern Arizona Humane Society to monsoon. I also fill-in as the weekend morning anchor/producer.
